Pravin Vittal Tarde is a Marathi film writer, actor and director. He started his career in theatre while at college. His powerful writing style, and direction won him many awards. In films and TV series, he is popular for playing character roles. Some of his notable works are Harishchandrachi Factory (2009), Fandry (2013), and Rege (2014). As a writer, he has written many TV series, screenplay and dialogue of many feature films. He has also directed Deool Band, which was one of the biggest hits of 2015. Mulshi Pattern is his second film as a director.
A stark portrayal of the hardships faced by farmers from Mulshi region near Pune, Mulshi Pattern tackles some of the raging issues of our times. The film lays bare the deep flaws of the system which turns the farmer into a criminal and a social outcast.
