Luong Dinh Dung was born in 1973, Vietnam. He is a Director, Producer, and Scriptwriter. In 2010, he completed his Master of Fine Arts of Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema. He is currently a Film Advisor and a member of the international programming team of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. He has published his action novel named "The Ownerless Girls", a collection of poems and short stories "Towards The Sun", another collection of poems “My moon is still square”,... His debut feature film “Father and Son” is the representative of Vietnam as the country’s entry in the Foreign-Language 90th Oscars.
