Director’s Biography:

A self taught filmmaker, Vijay quit his high paying corporate job to pursue his long time dream of making films. He stared out by making short films before moving to feature length films, both of which have played at festivals, both in India and abroad. Vijay made his feature debut in 2016 with Tamil language film "Revelations", which had its world premiere at Busan IFF. Set in the fascinating city of Kolkata, the film was a marital drama that examined the themes of guilt, redemption and female sexuality. After doing the festival rounds, the film was released worldwide on streaming platform Netflix to much critical acclaim. Vijay’ second feature "Nirvana Inn", a Hindi language psychological horror drama, was completed with post production support from Busan’s Asian Cinema Fund (ACF) and recently had it's world premiere at Busan IFF 2019.
