Director’s Biography:

Darren Aronofsky is considered as one of the prominent filmmakers working in today’s cinema. He started out with an experimental indie Pi (1998), and has never looked back since then. His films Requiem for a Dream (2000), The Fountain (06) have been admired by audience – critics – and festivals, awards alike. With The Wrestler (2008), and Black Swan (2010), he received multiple nominations at festivals like Venice, Toronto, Sundance, Academy Awards and many others. He is known as a master storyteller with a sharp command on craft, while getting the best performances out of his actors.
