Nicolas Pariser(Paris, 1974) Is An Actor, Writer, And Director Of Films. In This Latter Facet He Has Directed The Short Films Le Jour OùSégolèneA Gagné (2008), La République(2010) And Agit Pop (2013). In 2015 He Made His Feature Directorial Debut With The Political Thriller Le Grand Jeu (The Great Game), Which Competed At The Locarno Festival. His Second Film, Alice Et Le Maire (Alice And The Mayor), Received The Europa Cinemas Label Award In The QuinzaineDes RéalisateursAt The Last Cannes Festival.

Synopsis:

The Mayor Of Lyon, Paul Théraneau, Is In A Bad Way. He Has Run Out Of Ideas. After Thirty Years In Politics, He Feels Empty. To Solve This Problem, His Team Decides To Hire A Brilliant Young Philosopher, Alice Heimann. A Dialogue Between Alice And The Mayor Unfolds, Bringing Them Together And Shaking Their Certainties.
Little By Little, The Question Arises: Are Politics And Reflection Compatible?
