Director’s Biography:

Manoj Janwekar is known for his documentaries dealing with social justice. He has also been instrumental as freelance short film maker and video editor. Having 10 years’ experience in IT and Multimedia industry as a video editor and film maker. His previous documentary work and short films includes such as Yeva Konkan Aaplach Asa, Jagar Janivancha, The explosion, Kumar Saptarshi Biopic Documentary, 50 Degrees Celsius.

Synopsis:

Music and Dance have a different place in tribal life. Tarpa is an instrument in the tribal community. Tribal artist are trying to keep the art alive. Tarpa speaks on the short film, a part of innocent culture. Tarpa is made with milk, pumpkin, palm leaves and bamboo. Tarpa is a Traditional Instrument appears at any social, culture event.
