This exceptional film tells a local story with a universal core and gives a deep in sight on how the environmental crisis affects the life of the common men.

2. Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal Best Director Award - Mangesh Badar For Madaar
By keeping it simple the director thoroughly explores the subject matter and creates a captivating directorial vision.

3. Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal Best Actor Award - Milind Shinde For Madaar
With his subtle performance, exellent timing and deep trust in his art he gives life to the character and an understanding of humanity.

4. Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal Best Actress Award- Amruta Agarawal For Madaar 
Bold and brave performance giving a deep and touching insight into her characters dilemma and conviction.

5. Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal Best Cinematography Award - Akash Bankar, Ajay Balerav For Madaar
With simple means the camera manages to tell the story trough masterfully composed images that leave a deep impression.

6. Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal Best Screenplay Award - Rahul Awate For Panchak
Artfully the script manages to reflect a traditional believe system by tying a web of complex characters into a funny and light-hearted story.

7. Special Mention To The Directors Of Giraki - Kavita Datir, Amit Sonawane
We applaud the directors clear and simple vision and their reflection of a Youth conflicted between modern and traditional values. 

8. Special Mention To The Art Director Of Diary Of Vinayak Pandit - Kunal Vedpathak
The Paintings, the arrangements of colour and the use of space compliments the content of the film and reflects the inner life of the protagonist. 

World Cinema Awards

1. Government of Maharashtra "Prabhat" Best International Film TORI ET LOKITA Directed by Jean-Pierre Dardenne, Luc Dardenne Produced by Jean-Pierre Dardenne, Luc Dardenne, Delphine Tomson, Denis Freyd
The jury unanimously decided to give the Best Film Award to a film which moved us wholeheartedly discussing with unparalleled boldness the danger of looking for an identity in a new place. Best Film Award goes to Tori et Lokita by the Dardennes Brothers.

2. Government of Maharashtra "Prabhat" Best International Film Director to the Director: Maryna Er Gorbach for the film KLONDIKE is given to
Klondike puts the human condition into question in its picture of war’s absurd and relentless incursion into the lives of ordinary people, here a family of three who has to protect not only their own lives but a life to come. The director Maryna Er Gorbach and cinematographer Sviatoslav Bulakovskyi depicts the horrors and daily life of war with a clear sight and a steady hand that never hesitates.

Special Jury Mention for the film Boy from Heaven, Directed by Tarik Saleh, for its gripping exploration of religion and politics on the Cairo conspiracy.

Special Jury Mention to Lubna Azabal for her beautiful transformations of a woman under the influence, between convention and understanding, in The Blue Kaftan.

The Human Spirit award goes to Klondike for its high human tendency in dealing with fierce conflict that imposes the inevitability of peace.
