Dead man Anantrao is speaking through a crow’s body as it's a popular belief. He introduces the whole family while they are mourning his death. But the drama erupts as Purohit announces that since the death happened in a particular asterism the whole family is under threat of Panchak. Panchak predicts five deaths in a family of a dead man in one year. Now the fear of death starts playing in the minds of each and every character of the family. As they say, faith and reason don’t go hand in hand. Panchak is a story of restoring faith, not blindly but with open eyes and an open heart.
