Sachin Mullemwar has worked on multiple feature films as assistant director. He did his Diploma in Film Making, from International Academy of Film and Television, Philippines. Territory is his debut feature film.
In rural Vidarbha, a Tiger reserve, surrounded by other small villages has a coup brewing. While the villagers struggle to make ends meet, they’re faced with a new threat on their lives of a man-eating Tiger. Local forest officer, Jiddewar, is investigating the case of a missing Tiger from the reserve, while struggling to keep the villagers out of the deep jungle. Jiddewar suspects, the case of poaching tiger is the act of an insider, a local group of people. The Forest department along with the CBI officers, must gear up to trap tigers Veeru and Laxmi, to protect them from poachers. Forest department is running from poll to post, to capture the tigers, before the angry villagers or the greedy poachers. As the team decides to catch the poachers in the act, an intriguing web is planned by the forest officials, but when they peel each layer of this multifaceted case, the truth that comes to light is uglier than their imagination.
