The story begins when Sandeep comes out of a show of The home and world and is asked by beautiful reporter how he liked the movie. The story then turns into a play when we see three lead characters of the play by Rabindranath Tagore duke it out on stage, name Nikhilesh, Bimala, and Sandeep. It's a story of love triangle with politics. Meanwhile in the back stages we see another versions of the same characters namely Sandeep, Kaya, and Sujoy. The lines between reality and fiction starts to blur for Nikhilesh/ Sandeep as he mixes best of both world into a frizzy mess. Even Bimala and Sandeep start changing their characteristics and walk in blurred lines and thin spaces. The cinema questions the reality not only of those character but everything.
